Cookie Policy.
Short, because we don't use many.

We use essential cookies for core functionality. Analytics, marketing, and embedded content cookies require your explicit consent per Dutch law.

Quick summary

Essential cookies keep the site working (session login, language preference, consent state). Analytics, marketing, and embedded content cookies are only activated after you grant consent. You can change your preferences anytime via the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

01Why this page exists

Under the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet, Article 11.7a, we must inform you about the cookies and similar technologies we use, and obtain your consent for non-essential cookies. This page explains what we use, why we use it, and how you can control it.

02What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It can remember your preferences, keep you signed in, or help us understand how visitors use the site. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags.

03Essential cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled:

  • Session tokens (client portal only). When clients sign in to the portal, a session cookie keeps them signed in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Lifetime: session.
  • Locale preference. Remembers your language choice (EN/DE) so you don't have to select it on every visit. Lifetime: 1 year.
  • Consent state. Stores your cookie preferences so we don't ask again on every page. Lifetime: 6 months, after which we ask again.
  • Cloudflare security (__cf_bm). Set by our CDN and security provider Cloudflare to tell humans from bots and protect the site. Strictly necessary; no consent required. Lifetime: ~30 minutes.

04Analytics cookies (consent required)

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website. They are only activated after you grant consent:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. Purpose: analytics, usage analysis. Data: page views, interactions, device info, approximate location.
  • Microsoft Clarity. Provider: Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. Purpose: UX analysis, heatmaps, session recordings. Data: mouse movements, scrolling, clicks, page flows, device data.

Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode. Until you consent — and if you decline — GA4 stores no cookies and does not identify you; it sends only aggregated, cookieless signals to Google for traffic estimation. Cookies and full analytics are activated only after you grant consent. Microsoft Clarity loads only after you grant consent.

05Marketing cookies (consent required)

Meta Pixel. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. Purpose: ad conversion tracking and retargeting. Data: page views, interactions, conversion events. Only activated after you grant consent.

06Embedded content (consent required)

Some pages include embedded content from third-party platforms. These may set their own cookies when loaded:

  • Vimeo. Provider: Vimeo.com, Inc. (USA). Data: IP address, device/browser data, referrer.
  • Instagram. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. Data: IP address, browser/device info, referrer, cookie IDs.

Embedded content is only loaded after you grant consent for "Embedded Content" in your cookie preferences.

07How to manage your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings. Clearing cookies will reset your preferences and sign you out of the client portal.

Third-country transfers (outside the EEA, e.g., to the USA via Google, Microsoft, Meta, or Vimeo) are safeguarded under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified, and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, per Art. 44 ff. GDPR.

08Changes

If we add new non-essential cookies, we will update this page and request your consent before activating them.
