Landleben

Brand, operations, and AI · Teufen · ongoing project

First we refreshed the brand. Now we are working with the team on the routines behind it. Here is what is done and what comes next.

What Landleben is

Landleben in Teufen is not just a florist. Floristry, home accessories, and regional specialities share one room. People come in for a bouquet and stay to look around. The shop has been open for over fifteen years.

The brand came first

Our first job was the brand. We refined the familiar logo instead of replacing it, because customers know it. Then came colours and typefaces as a simple rulebook, the website in the new look, and new business cards.

Before, the oval. Now, the clean wordmark. Still recognisable.

Fifteen years of experience on the team

In 2026 a new owner took over the shop. The florist who has worked at Landleben for many years stayed. She knows every routine from that time. That knowledge is the shop's real asset. Our goal: make it visible to both of them at any time, not only when someone asks.

The pinboard shows at a glance what is due on which day.

Following one order

In September we walked through a real order with the owner, from the phone call to the filing, and photographed every step. A clear pattern showed up.

Completed, September 2026

  1. Call
  2. Note
  3. Pinboard
  4. Invoice
  5. Filing

The pinboard shows when an order is due. Whether it has been invoiced or paid, it does not show.

Next: one shared status

The next step is deliberately small. A digital list where every order has its status. It runs for one real working week next to the pinboard. The pinboard stays until the list has proven itself.

In preparation

NewOrder taken
In progressBeing arranged
InvoicedInvoice created
PaidPayment received

Both see the same status without having to ask each other.

After that: capturing receipts with AI

Only once the shared status holds do we test the AI. It reads a receipt, suggests the fields, and flags what is uncertain. A person checks and approves. Nothing is booked, sent, or paid along the way.

Planned

  1. Receipt
  2. Photo
  3. AI reads
  4. Person checks
  5. Filing

Tested with real receipts, and only once the owner has released the data for it.

Where we stand today

Each step has to prove itself in daily use before the next one starts. The shop keeps running as normal the whole time.
